The boat ramp access gate system is installed and functional. This gate system will provide more security to the lake for LSA members. The boat ramp access gate features an electrically-operated opening system and a keypad which will receive a 5-digit code. Before receiving their personal gate code, LSA members must register their state-registered watercraft with the LSA and have their 2023 maintenance fee paid (the code will be provided by the LSA, not Acacia).
Members can register their watercraft with the LSA here: Watercraft Registration

This boat ramp access gate system will monitor the use of each code and will provide video surveillance of the use of the code system and boat ramp. Any code that is used to bring a non-registered watercraft onto the lake will become an invalid code and the member must then make an individual appointment to put in or take out their watercraft. Members may also lose use of the boat ramp altogether upon repeated offenses.
The LSA Board has received many complaints about non-member watercraft on our lake and we believe this new boat ramp access gate system will not only eliminate that problem but also any other potential problems caused by boats coming and going from other lakes and carrying/depositing invasive species into this lake.
The boat ramp facilities are for the exclusive use of Members in good standing. The dissemination of the gate code to anyone other than a Member in good standing is prohibited.
