The LSA Board of Directors is the governing authority of our Association, elected by the Membership as a whole. Any Member in good standing may complete an application for candidacy to the Board of Directors. Any Member who wishes to be included in this year’s election should complete and return an application to be received on or before June 25. The LSA Board of Directors Candidacy Form can be found under “Association Forms” on the “Members” tab of our website.
The time-line for this year’s election is:
June 25 – last day to file a candidacy application (must be RECEIVED by this date)
July 1 – ballots to be mailed by Acacia to all Members
July 31 – last day for Acacia to receive ballots of Members in good standing. Acacia to count ballots and report results to Board of Directors.
August 4 – organizational meeting of newly elected Board members and election of officers
August 13 – Annual LSA Membership Meeting and installation of new Board of Directors
This year there are two Board positions to be filled, those currently held by Dick Hokanson and Doug Ringler. Thus each member will be voting for 2 of the candidates listed on the ballot.
Each elected position is for a 2 year term.
