The LSA Board of Directors is the governing authority of our Association, elected by the Membership as a whole. Any Member in good standing may complete an application for candidacy to the Board of Directors. Any Member who wishes to be included in this year’s election should complete and return an application to be received on or before June 25. The LSA Board of Directors Candidacy Form can be found under “Association Forms” on the “Members” tab of our website.
The time-line for this year’s election is:
June 25 – last day to file a candidacy application (must be RECEIVED by this date)
July 1 – ballots to be mailed by Acacia to all Members
July 31 – last day for Acacia to receive ballots of Members in good standing. Acacia to count ballots and report results to Board of Directors.
August 6 – organizational meeting of newly elected Board members and election of officers
August 14 – Annual LSA Membership Meeting and installation of new Board of Directors
In accordance with the changes to the election procedures implemented a couple of years ago, this year there are three Board Director positions to be filled. Those three positions are currently held by Ken Kool, Jodi McPherson, and Jessica Albin. The other two Directors, Dick Hokanson and Doug Ringler were elected last year and have another year of service to complete their two-year term. All Directors will serve a 2-year term.
