The LSA Covenants and Restrictions state in part in Article VII, Building and Use Limitations, Section 2, Nuisances, “No sign or any kind of advertising device shall be displayed to the public view on any lot except as approved by Association in writing.”
There have been an increasing number of signs displayed around the Association, especially at the entrance sign on Indian Shores and, in order to maintain a pleasing, visually attractive Association, the Association requests that the Membership and realtors adhere to the above-stated restriction on signage. The Association has spent a great deal on our entrance sign, landscaping and rental of the space where the sign is located. We do not wish to distract from the attractiveness of our entrance area.
All Membership signs are limited to the large display board available near the Association map on Indian Shores/Apache Trail. The doors to the display have been removed as they no longer provide a visible protection to the posted signs. Therefore, Members may wish to laminate any signs or use waterproof materials. Realtors may use any available space on this display, but Member signs shall take priority. Members should remove all posted signs in a timely manner and limit their posting to the time an item is for sale.
Yard sale signage WILL be allowed if kept to a minimum and only displayed during the limited day(s) of the sale. All signs should note the address of the sale and the day(s) and time(s) of the sale. All non-conforming signage will be removed.
Homeowners MAY place realty signs on their own lot. Realtors MAY post open house signage during open house hours and all signs should note the address and the day and time(s) of the open house. Again, nonconforming signage will be removed. Any day of entrance area sign should be limited to the opposite corner of the LSA entrance sign or across Almy Road, NOT on the corner with the entrance sign or inside the Association near the signage identifying Association roads.
All realty and advertising signage currently at the Association entrance which is not removed within the next few days will be placed at the Association maintenance building on Apache Trail for pickup within one (1) week. Again, available space on the display board may be used for real estate signage.
Thank you for your cooperation.
